Checked the schema file, it does contain the 'composer-pane-position' key yet it still crashes with that error message.

2015-07-08 22:17:36 -0500 asked a question Geary not starting on Fedora 22

OS: Fedora 22

geary: x86_64 - 0.10.0-1.fc22 - @System

Log:

geary:4364): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.yorba.geary' does not contain a key named 'composer-pane-position'

Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)

P.S.: On a fresh VM it starts without any issues but I am not in a position to do a fresh install.

Note: It launches just fine on a fresh install of F22 on a VM.

Do you have flash installed on your Firefox browser?

To check:

  • Open a new tab in firefox
  • Type about:plugins in the address bar
  • Make sure you see an entry for Shockwave Flash

If you need to install flash follow the instructions here: https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/10217/how-to-install-adobe-flash-on-fedora/

2014-03-26 14:12:53 -0500 asked a question Fedora 20/Cinnamon laptop won't suspend when lid is closed

The laptop does suspend when I am using Gnome 3 but not when I am using Cinnamon. Power options are set up correctly.

Also, I have tried uncommenting the option in logind as described here: ask.fedoraproject.org

Any help will be appreciated.
