What model laptop are you using? Some have a bios/uefi option to change the primary display from internal to external.

2014-01-01 11:13:47 -0500 answered a question How to manage Android Mobile in Fedora --- files, contract, photos...

Marc's answer will get you access to the android device's internal hd and sd card (if you have one). It seems you are looking for an application to manage all of those things. I recommend you do a good search for something called airdroid. Do a google search for it as I do not have enough karma points to post a direct link. Hope it helps!

2014-01-01 11:00:05 -0500 answered a question installing fedora 20

I had a similar issue with my install. I ended up re-writing the f20 iso to a usb stick via Fedora's image writer and it worked.

What he said. I hope you read randomuser's response. Very important information about F17.

2014-01-01 10:53:58 -0500 commented question Burning .iso image to external HDD using Fedora

I admit the question isn't phrased properly. I interpret it as "how can I install a windows XP iso (in my /home) to an external 500GB HDD while in Fedroa." I do not know the answer to this, but I thought I would rephrase it for all.

Thanks. The only thing I did differently this time was clean all and use kmod instead of akmod. Thanks again for the help. Now it's time for for Serious Sam 3: BFE!

2013-12-28 23:38:53 -0500 commented question how to install nvidia proprietary driver Fedora 20?

In the past I heard people have had to down grade their x version if the proprietary driver did not support it. Pressing ctrl alt f2 didn't get me to a text console. I did get in eventually though.

2013-12-28 19:12:20 -0500 asked a question how to install nvidia proprietary driver Fedora 20?

I got Fedora 20 (x86_64) running just fine with the built-in open source nouveau driver. However after installing the official nvidia driver via the rpm fusion repos (yum install akmod-nvidia); I was greeted to a black screen upon reboot. I was able to get back in by editing the grub entry and removing the driver. How can I install their drivers properly?

My system is up to date as of this writing (12/28/13). gpu: Nvidia 660 ti kernel: 3.12.5-302.fc20.x86_64 xorg: 1.14.4

Do I need to downgrade my xorg version?

EDIT: Per Fransico's recommendation here is the info from the xorg5 log.
