Hi, thanks for taking the time to answer. What had I been doing. I'd been trying to install OpenElec sing the guidelines in Wiki. I got stuck when it came to compiling using "make" and "release" Both are un-fedora like! However as a noobie I just carried on and the release bit must have "cleaned" the download. Yesterday I got the same comment but didn't continue with release and used a different route. I had realised that Fedora worked with as a generic rather than a named system and it all worked apart from two packages missing -g++ and a lib file. Now having got it installed and I believe compiled I need to 'run' it. How? What is the command for 'run'. On Raspi it loads from boot and is superb; but Fedora ? Ah well....

I spent hours last night trying to install to no avail; eventually I went to bed. This morning the whole downloaded files are 'missing'; can't find the directories under my name nor in root. Why?
