2013-06-12 08:18:27 -0500 asked a question False second monitor problem

Hello, I attempted to install Fedora 16 on an Intel Atom PC with ASUS AT5NM10-I motherboard. Live CD booted into a graphic desktop which resembles a second monitor in a two monitor system. Mouse can leave the desktop through the left edge, and there is no menu, no icons, no windows, just a wallpaper. As far as I can tell, autodetection of monitors failed, and the system believes that my monitor is the second monitor. There is only one VGA port on this m/b. Can this problem be worked around?
