2013-02-16 12:32:43 -0500 asked a question where kernel headers files are?

I need to install VMWare and I think kernel header files files are in /usr/src/kernels/3.7.6-102.fc17.i686/include/linux When I put this path in the program VMWare, which is asking for these files but there is error. Why the path does not work? Any help would be aprecciated. Thanks in Advance.

I have this in my terminal:

2013-01-19 05:02:43 -0500 asked a question how to find lzma extracted files?

I downloaded and extracted:

tar --lzma -xvf /home/mp/Downloads/sage-5.5-linux-32bit-fedora_release_16_verne_-i686-Linux.tar.lzma

Now I do not know how to run the Sage program, and do not even know where the files not compressed are or which extensions they have. I need to run the program, what to do?

Thanks in Advance

thanks. Your first comand does nothing apparently, but your second command line provides installation, since gcc --version retrieves command not found it can be only installation and not update.

True, command not found, gcc is not installed yet. Thanks.

I want to know if I have gcc installed or not. I tried this:

[root@212 ~]# which gcc
/usr/bin/which: no gcc in (/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/root/bin)

[root@212 ~]# gcc v-
bash: gcc: command not found...
