2015-07-21 06:57:00 -0500 asked a question Unable to find lcblas Fedora 22

Hi, I have installed atlas-3.10 and atlas-devel packages on Fedora 22. Earlier these packages used to ship libcblas.so.3 library which isn't present for Fedora 20 and earlier. Because of this i am unable to link my programs using lcblas. Can someone please help me how to solve this issue?

Is installing previous version of atlas(3.8.4) a solution to this problem?

Hi, i installed gnome-power-manager. But, still no use. There's no options for changing display brightness and keyboard keys to change brightness aren't working. In display settings, the maximum resolution shown is 1024x768. But, i have Fedora Verne running along where the screen resolution is 1366x768.

Hi, I'm using Dell Inspiron N5050(laptop). I have already tried the key combinations given on keyboard. Except for the brightness changing keys every other thing works(like volume up/down, wifi on/off).

2013-07-04 10:48:54 -0500 asked a question No brightness control in Fedora 19

Hi, I have installed Fedora 19 64-bit version and i'm using gnome. I'm trying to change brightness of the screen, there's no option shown in settings menu. Also, i'm unable to change screen resolution. I had no problems with screen resolution in Fedora 17, the screen resolution used there was 1376x768 whereas in Fedora 19 it's 1024x768 and display looks large.

2013-03-28 06:20:54 -0500 asked a question Fedora 18 installation, screen freezes before boot completion

Hi, I'm trying to install Fedora 18 64-bit on my Dell laptop. After selecting Install Fedora from initial Boot screen, there are a series of messages and finally it stops at this message.

Starting Firewalld

Starting Terminate Plymouth Boot Screen

Starting Wait for Plymouth Boot screen to quit

Starting System Logging Services.

[Ok] Started System Logging Services.

Then, the screen freezes and system shutdowns automatically after say 1 minute. The dvd image checksum is fine and there are no problems installing from the same medium on my friend's laptop.

2012-09-21 01:35:39 -0500 asked a question Fedora 17 freezes booting at RPC bind services

Hi, I'm a fedora user from past 1 year, i had no problems with Fedora 16 and Fedora 17 till yesterday. I'm using fedora 17 64-bit. Yesterday when I was working I got a notification stating that some problem has occurred in the kernel package, since, I had no access to internet, I just ignored it. But later when I booted the system it freezes at "Starting RPC bind services". I'm unable to login to the system. The problem is same with 3 different kernel versions i'm using(3.5.x). Please help me!
