Try to delete (or better rename) the files in the ~/.gnome2/keyrings directory

mv ~/.gnome2/keyrings/login.keyring ~/.gnome2/keyrings/login.keyringold
mv ~/.gnome2/keyrings/user.keystore ~/.gnome2/keyrings/user.keystoreold

logout and login again.

It might be related to this https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=503360, comment #13 seems to give a work around.

2012-08-16 02:10:31 -0500 asked a question why the terminal background opacity is set to 0?

When I open gnome-terminal with a keyboard shortcut the window background appears completely transparent. I have to go to the profile preferences and set it to ~80% and from that moment on new windows keep the correct opacity.

If I set the background to a solid color the bug doesn't come up.

If I open the terminal from the menu the bug doesn't come up.
