I feel you brother and am searching for exactely the same. I used a program under Ubuntu/Budgie (which is based on Gnome) that did exactely that! Also with much better and more robust pairing and device management. I think it was Blueman. But this is kind of discontinued and exists for Fedora only as an alpha. Maybe give it a shot though! Edit: Just tried it: It is not really operable. Stay away from it. If you have ever come by a solution, please let me know.

I did with rpmfusion, and it didn't help. Than I completely reinstalled fedora because I feared that nvidia was the cause. But the problem persisted. Then I tried the manual nvidia install, but no luck. However what at least lets me boot and close lid, etc. is: Disabling the option VT-D (but not VT) in the bios/efi setup as mentioned in the bug report, I still get the message on startup though, but at least I can work with it for now. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.... Does not feel very stable though because of these messages and no idea what caused this...

Additionally when system is started, the OS sometimes freezes. This happens always when closing the lid (suspend is not triggered but rather display is stuck with latest content or black). Or when trying to change brightness (FN+F8/F9). These problems appear as I said right out the box. All with latest os and kernel. I thought that fedora is the os that at least supports the thinkpads right out the box, very disappointed.

Some clarifications, for me there are three different scenarios that appear to be rather random which I encounter during boot: - I get only the clock message, a blinking prompt underneath disappears and the system is stuck and won't boot up - I get the above plus some more bluetooth driver messages, in 50% the system starts up after, otherwise stuck - I get the clock message, prompt underneath blinks and system starts up.

I have the exact same problem.

I have a Thinkpad W530 and freshly installed F26, updated. I get these problems when disabling the integrated graphics. But these errors happen even without installing any nvidia drivers.
