The client file is usually distributed by whomever you are running your VPN though, for example I use Private Internet Access and I pick from the location of the VPN (for example US California.ovpn which I download from their website. What service are you trying to use?

Dont think so, you should be up to date. Still a fresh install can be a good thing on principal.

I have heard rumours of better optimus support in Fedora 25, but so far I have not been able to make it work period. I've used the guides on RPMFusion as well as compiling the newest driver from the nvidia website and no matter what I just get an xserver crash. Has anyone gotten these things to work? I really like Fedora 25, but I am missing the use of my discrete card and I dislike the performance loss of Bumblebee.

Certainly frustrating, part of why I switched was that I read the new driver was compatible and it removed the issue of no v-sync on optimus systems.

2016-11-11 00:50:53 -0500 asked a question How do I install the Nvidia driver on Fedora 25?

Hi,

I used Mandriva and Suse for quite some time before switching to Ubuntu for the last 6-7 years. I have had a few issues with Ubuntu that encouraged me to switch back to a RedHat based distro. Picking it up fast, but the one thing I am having major issues with is getting the Nvidia proprietary driver to work on my optimus laptop. Part of why I switched back was reading that there was improved support for it in Fedora 25, but so far I have not been able to get it to work at all on Fedora 25 Beta. I figured so close to release it would be integrated. Has anyone had any luck so far? None of the guides for 24 and down have worked so far. It's a Nvidia 680m on an Alienware m17x R4

Thank you.
