Find out which driver you are using first. Get your device name from xinput list and do a xinput list-props <device> to see its capabilities. The synaptics driver is currently being deprecated in favor of libinput. If using the latter fine tuning is possible through gnome-settings-manager. You can view current settings with gsettings list-recursively org.gnome.desktop.peripherals.touchpad and use the same cli tool to change them or dconf-editor if you prefer the gui. If it doesn't work you can install the synaptics driver xorg-x11-drv-synaptics and configure it in Xorg config files.

Did you examine your logs? Any errors from journalctl --unit=NetworkManager? Maybe journalctl -u wpa_supplicant. Check for known issues with your wifi adapter and respective kernel module -- look at the output of lspci -k and dmesg for clues. You might need additional firmware, do a dnf search firmware and look for your wifi chipset. Is it installed and up to date?
