Thanks for the reply! So I tried a user agent switcher without much luck though the error was different. Instead of asking me to install MS Silverlight, when I tried user agents for Either a version of Chrome or Firefox for Windows or Chrome on Linux I'd get an error Oops something went wrong. Please make sure you're using an official version of FF or Chrome.

Seems like there's something going on with the DRM module that's narc'ing to netflix the actual browser I'm using and that it's not running on what I'm telling it it's running on.

2016-10-10 12:10:05 -0500 asked a question Netflix on Firefox 49 (Fedora 24) not working

Hi all,

I was under the impression that Netflix should now work with Firefox 49 since they enabled the EME module similar to Google Chrome. After installing Fedora 24 and running "dnf update" it upgraded my FF from 47->49. When I went to Netflix's site, Firefox had a blue bar at the top asking me to download a DRM module. I said okay. I reloaded firefox, however when I try to click on a video it's asking me to install MS Silverlight still. Am I missing a step? Is this still not functional?

Thanks!
