Thanks, this works perfectly! MTU is set to 1492!

Unfortunately, this does not work for me. Ifconfig still shows 1500 for enp4s0 and ppp0 when "ip link set mtu" does change them to 1492. tracepath shows pmtu 1500 and no reply. Also, reboot does not apply my file as "sysctl -a|grep mtu" shows, I have to run "sysctl --system", but still no change in ifconfig.

I don't know whether this is a bug or not, I'm not a network specialist, but since some update, Network Manager sets incorrect MTU value for my DSL connection. MTU change in the Network Manager from auto to 1492 under Ethernet tab for both enp4s0 and the connection doesn't help. Adding MTU=1492 to etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-enp4so doesn't help either. The solution for me is to run "ip link set mtu 1492 dev enp4s0" in the terminal on every boot. So the question is: Is there another solution that would set MTU permanenetly?

Thank you!

2016-09-15 14:37:20 -0500 asked a question Debugging Gnome on Wayland

I'm testing Gnome on Wayland and it logs out occasionally. It happens when I run an application, doesn't matter which, be it nautilus, terminal etc. Then it doesn't log in unless I switch to Xorg. I remember this bug since F24 alpha, nobody fixed it since then. How can I debug this so I could create a bug report?

Sorry. I don't need to install the program. I expect the outcome like if I were to run "dnf install libmypaint-devel" There's no information on that in readme.

Thanks! But I still want to know how to install development files from source.

Hi I want to compile Gimp 2.9.4 from source. I managed to install all mandatory dependencies except for mypaint-devel. The 1.3.0 version is not available in RPM Fusion. I already have the source code of libmypaint. How can I compile the development files and install them system-wide?
