you can install and set nemo as default file manager follow this guide :

  1. Nautilus features gone in Fedora 18
- sudo yum install nemo
- xdg-mime default nemo.desktop inode/directory application/x-gnome-saved-search
- gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.background show-desktop-icons false
- Turn on the option "Have file manager handle the desktop" in gnome-tweak-tool

2012-06-06 11:01:37 -0500 answered a question [Solved] Problem with Fedora 17 and devices connected to USB HUB

I find a solution for my problem. If anyone have this problem, here is solution:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=823815#c7

I commented out this line in /lib/udev/rules.d/71-seat.rules:

# Mimo 720, with integrated USB hub, displaylink graphics, and e2i touchscreen
#SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTR{idVendor}=="058f", ATTR{idProduct}=="6254", ENV{ID_AUTOSEAT}="1"

and now everything is working nicely.

Enjoy!

Hi!

I come with a new challenge for you :p

The problem: After install and update Fedora 17 on my laptop, my USB mouse and keyboard doesn't works. Both of them are connected to a USB HUB, and they works fine on Fedora 16 and Windows 7. If I connect it directly to a USB Port, then works nice.

Any solution?

2012-02-20 12:31:37 -0500 asked a question Can't find QWebView widget (Qt Designer) on Fedora 16

Hi! I have a problem trying to find QWebView widget on Qt Designer (also on Qt Creator). I'm trying a python tutorial in Eric IDE and I need to add a QWebView widget but widget is missing. I installed various Qt-devel packages including PyQt (for bindings between Qt and Python).

Anyone knows what's happen?

Thanks!
