How do I add a mountable harddisk?

I want do add a new harddisk to the system, with ordinary users having read/write-access to it. The disk should not be mounted during the boot process but on demand. I tried to add

UUID-{blkid-output} /home/[username]/data ext4 defaults,noauto,rw,users 0 0

to /etc/fstab. As a result I was able to mount the disk, but I didn't get read/write-access to it. What did I wrong?
