Deja Dup Backup taking hours!

Running Fedora 21 Workstation.

I am taking backup of my home folder on an external hard disk (USB3) with Deja Dup. The total size of home folder is about 200gb.

It has taken more than 20 hours over multiple sessions, but the backup is not yet complete.

By multiple sessions, I mean, I started taking a backup, but clicked on 'Resume Later' when I had to shut my computer down. When I started my computer again, I started the backup again.

But is it 'normal' for a 200gb backup to take that long? Is something wrong? How do I know if something is wrong?

I have looked at the 'Details' section in the backup window to know the culprit. It keeps backing up some especially large folders even when there is no change! I have identified ~/.thunderbird and ~/Music as two such folders
