I have a Thinkpad W530 and am running F28. Since F26 (my first Fedora), I have the following problem: When I want to adjust my display brightness with the function keys, quite often, it does not do anything.
I can only change the value when going to the max or min value which changes the brightness rapidly to max or min and then I can set a more moderate value. Which is very annoying, you only want to go one tick up but instead have to keep pressing to the full value and then reduce again.
I am using X and nvidia drivers.
This is very annoying. Is there anyone who can point me to a useful resource?
