Fedora 14, Intel 945: Installs OK but then X fails during bootup

I am installing Fedora 14 in order to run Amahi - so for that reason I can't choose another version of Fedora. The installation went fine - the reboot did not! It goes as far as the start of the 'hourglass' and then X fails. My motherboard is iL-90MV, a Micro-itx Intel 945. I had already tried installing the distro, in a Virtualbox, on another machine, and it went OK. So, I think this is down to some X configuration or drivers.

Is there a fix I can apply to this? Also, is there a way of getting into the command line?
