Trying to follow this guide:

It has you copy the 2.0 folder from /usr/share/easy_rsa/ to root's home.

Guide copies the 2.0 folder, on my install, I have 3, 3.0 and 3.0.1 available, so I copy the latter (3.0.1).

Next it tells you to edit the vars file and source it in, I see no vars file in either the 3, 3.0 or 3.0.1 directories.

Do I need to get the vars file from somewhere else, or is there a more up-to-date set of instructions?

I used the following commands to create a ca:

cp -r /usr/share/easy-rsa/3/* myca

edit the file 'openssl-1.0.cnf' if needed

cd myca
./easyrsa init-pki
./easyrsa build-ca

and then start creating certificates for clients and servers:

./easyrsa build-server-full

Sorry for the delay, that worked!
