Greetings, Greetings, Thanks in advance for all feedback.

While running fedora23 the machine an intel nuc would display at 3840x2160

I upgraded to fedora24 and now max resolution seems to be 1920x1080

Is there a means to configure for 3840x2160 as it was in fedora23?

I also booted to a live fedora25 (xfce) disc and it did not provide the option for 3840x2160

Let me know if I can provide any more details.

The machine I would like this for is an Intel NUC D54350 the monitor is a Seiki 42"

And I do see the i915 details in the /var/log/Xorg.0.log file and see that it reports supporting the resolution.

from /var/log/Xorg.1.log ... Supported detailed timing: [ 28416.677] (II) intel(0): clock: 297.0 MHz Image Size: 698 x 393 mm [ 28416.677] (II) intel(0): hactive: 3840 hsync: 4016 hsyncend 4104 hblankend 4400 hborder: 0 [ 28416.677] (II) intel(0): vactive: 2160 vsync: 2168 vsyncend 2178 vblanking: 2250 v_border: 0 [ 28416.677] (II) intel(0): Serial No: [ 28416.677] (II) intel(0): Monitor name: SE42UMS [ 28416.677] (II) intel(0): Ranges: V min: 50 V max: 75 Hz, H min: 30 H max: 80 kHz, PixClock max 297 MHz

Is there a way to hand configure X so it will use this resolution? Can you provide specifics? Or is it a driver issue and even though it reports the details ... the driver will not work (does that make sense?)

Right now , xrandr output is :

Is it possible, and how specifically with details, to add a mode for the higher resolution?

Thanks for your time on this.
