I'm trying to set up a wireless printer (Brother MFC-J615W) in Fedora 16? How do I tell Fedora to look for printers connected wirelessly? I've downloaded and installed (courtesy of Brother) both the lpr driver and cupswrapper driver. But Fedora thinks the printer is connected via USB?

Please open up system-config-printer (install it if not on system) and configure your printer. You can also open the web interface for cups "http://localhost:631" into a browser window and try to configure your printer from there.

For any issues during printer setup or taking printouts from the printer please visit the printing problems debugging link.

Also you can go through the Fedoraproject documentation of adding network printers.

Also as a quick hint. Cups web interface may ask you for the login/password, it is root / system_root_password

The answer and the hint were very useful for me as well. I was wondering how to add a Samsung M2020W printer on fedora 20. It worked perfectly.
