You need to select it properly on your bios, Since each bios has different settings it is hard to guest but if uefi is setup you need to choose the boot entry that will be correct for your installation.

Restart the computer. At the Dell logo during restart, tap the F2 key repeatedly until you see Entering Setup in the top right corner of the screen. Depending on the BIOS, you may need to press a key listed at the bottom of the screen to load default settings. For example, F9 on the Inspiron N5110. Press ESC to exit the BIOS, and be sure to select Save and Exit to save your changes. Check Dell Latitude E6410 Manual for more help if needed.

I mean I think E6410 don't have uefi (secure boot) ,

BIOS Information Vendor: Dell Inc. Version: A16

IIRC with new kernels , or and microcode updates , have BIOS updated is advised . to Create USB boot to upgrade bios (DOS) and check if USB boot without reboot , we may look my notes here: http://www.serjux.com/freedos_boot/Cr...
