Permission issue with webcam in fedora 16
I've done a fresh install of fedora 16 however I am using my prior fedora /home partition.
In fedora 15 my webcam used to work out of the box. Now it does not. I've had permission issues with some of my usb devices. I have to manually change the permissions in order to get them to work. This did not work with the webcam however.
I know that if I reinstall fedora and format my /home partition I would not face this issue since a clean install on my laptop works with no problems. However I would not like to have to go this route.
When I run cheese from the terminal I get the following errors:
** (cheese:10118): WARNING **: Could not get buffers from device '/dev/video0'.
** (cheese:10118): WARNING **: Could not map buffers from device '/dev/video0'
** (cheese:10118): WARNING **: Could not negotiate format
Any ideas?
