Converting the LXDE spin to GNOME 3

I downloaded the LXDE spin of Fedora 18 to a cd while I actually needed the standard GNOME environment. I did this because I want a live cd and don't want to spill an empty DVD instead of a CD. Can I just yum groupinstall "GNOME Desktop Environment" after the installation, to get the standard GNOME 3.6 DE, with the GNOME3 login manager and all the stuff that comes with the standard livecd?

As of this answer just do yum groupinstall GNOME and remove the LXDE group (if you want).

You can also list the groups via sudo yum group list or sudo yum list-groups. Before you press y to confirm installation, it will display the version it is installing in the list of packages it will install. To change the login manager - see here
