Linux amigo 3.2.6-3.fc16.x8664 #1 SMP Mon Feb 13 20:35:42 UTC 2012 x8664 x8664 x8664 GNU/Linux

Keyboard/Mouse: Logitech Wireless Wave Combo MK550

After applying recent updates (performed Feb 17th), some of the "media" keys no longer function.

In particular, the button w/ the "musical note symbol" no longer launches the media player.

I had previously defined this binding using: "System Settings"->"Keyboard"->"Shortcuts"->"Sound and Media"->"Launch media player"

Worked fine until today.

If I try to change the shortcut now, the "Keyboard" settings GUI either won't let me, or doesn't appear to see the key code.

The default media player is defined as Banshee..., and that definition continues to function correctly, i.e., when double clicking on an MP3 within Nautilus, Banshee is properly launched.

FWIW: Don't know if this helps..., but prior to applying recent updates, I was out of town for appx 5 weeks. Last night (Feb 16th), I applied suggested updates. No problem, everything worked fine. Since not all updates get applied in a single pass, I reran the update check this morning (Feb 17th), and sure enough, there were some additional pending (including kernel). I installed those updates, and following reboot, observed the breakage.
