fedora 17 svn checkout

the error message : SSL handshake failed: SSL error: Key usage violation in certificate has been detected.

here is a solution for ubuntu:[http://andrewbrobinson.com/2011/11/01/fixing-ssl-handshake-failed-ssl-error-key-usage-violation-in-certificate-has-been-detected-error-on-svn-checkout/] But fedora doesn't have libneon-gnutls.so.27

Hello, you can try to go here (http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=1005) and download version that may be will work with your system. See the changelog there if you find the fix there. If the problem persists, file a bug in the Bugzilla.

As an alternative, you could use git. It also supports to checkout from SVN. See here:

Please see the notes, not every feature of SVN is supported. So this is more a longer comment than a full-blown answer.
