Gnome Tweak Tool Settings Frozen

After resetting the indexes in tracker-preferences to try to clear tracker-extractor crashes and then cloning the drive as a backup, the gnome-tweak-tool settings are frozen, I can't change desktop settings, add startup applications or extenstions.

I have removed and reinstalled gnome-tweak-tool several times.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Hard to answer without more details. "Frozen" is not really clear, are the option "greyed out"?

Most tweak tool settings have a corresponding "gsetting" that you can change on the command-line. If that works, then it's definitely a Tweak tool issue, otherwise you may get some more data as to what's wrong...

If you're using Fedora 25 you could try the X11 session as well, maybe some options are only for X11 and not wayland.
