How to make my python executable to run on login/startup?

I have made a python executable using pyinstaller and now I want to run it automatically on startup. Gnome tweak tool do not list my executable. How can I do this? (on F24)

Make your python executable... well, "executable" (chmod +x yourexecutable) and create a .desktop file in your ~/.config/autostart directory

.desktop template below:

[Desktop Entry]
Categories="Can be Utility; and so on.."
Comment="Put a comment here"
Encoding=UTF-8
Exec="path_to_your_executable"
Hidden=true
Name="Its name here"
Terminal=false
Type=Application
Version=1.0

Edit ~/.bash_profile and insert the desired program to start at login.
