GNOME Terminal Terminal -> 80x24 Broken

The Resize menu choice of the GNOME Terminal 3.20.2 is Broken.
Since Upgrading to Fedora 24 I have missed this feature on the Terminal menu to set the height and width of the terminal back to 80x24 when I use a remote serial terminal with ipmitool. The size of the terminal in characters is very important for the cursors applications. The feedback displaying the terminal size in a small box at the bottom when stretching the terminal is also missing.

Will this be fixed or should I look for an alternate desktop that works better than Gnome?

Before looking for a different DE, check with Bugzilla and see if it's been reported. If not, open a ticket (aka a Bugzilla) on it, although you'll need to open an account with them first.

I am using Fedora 25 beta and the 80x24 (and other) menu items work fine. You can also use the profile feature to set the initial size to whatever you like. I don't think you need to look for an alternate desktop for this.
