why does Fedora treat me like an idiot with the password?
Just installed Fedora 24. When setting up a password it wouldn't let me carry on with the password I wanted to use suggesting I add more and more letters. I KNOW my password was weak. I WANT a short password to log into MY machine which ONLY I have access to .
"my machine which only i have access to",... is a very dangerous assumption in times like this ;-)
It treats you like a use who doesn’t know what he is doing, … which seems to be the case.
