Hi,

I had an Ubuntu distribution on my laptop, and then change it with a fedora dist. After installing the fedora, I lost the windows boot. I couldn't login to windows anymore.

I don't really know much about operating systems. So, is there any help.

Thanks.

I had the same problem with Windows 10, maybe this thread can help you: How to restore Windows 10 boot entry after installing Fedora 24

you did not tell us what is it that you want actually I guess that you might have deleted the windows from the disk instead of deleting the Ubuntu dist. by mistake try installing G parted for a clear view of your disk "what is there and what is not" I used to duel windows10 with Ubuntu but i deleted both of them and installed fedora24 trust me its better than both of them you just have to know it more once you get enough information about fedora you will not miss windows or Ubuntu any more i hope this helps you :)
