Please edit your question with a little bit more information.

Are you wanting to copy a Fedora DVD ISO to your USB?

Are you trying to set up a LiveCD image on a USB?

or are you just wanting to copy any old .ISO file to a USB drive?

Really short answer for linux: "dd if=/path/to/image.iso of=/dev/sdx bs=1M" where /path/to/image.iso is location of the ISO image and /dev/sdx is the location of usb thumbdrive.
