Hello! Fedora doesn't detect my Windows 10 partition! I Can't boot on Windows and i can't find the Windows bootloader on the boot menu in the BIOS settings. Windows is installed in EFI since this computer is brand new. Fedora is installed in EFI too. I did a new /boot/efi partition

while i was setting up my partition it didn't say "Windows" but "Unknown" (you know, the title over the partitions list)

parted -l output:

Modello: ATA ST500LT012-1DG14 (scsi)
Disco /dev/sda: 500GB
Dimensione del settore (logica/fisica): 512B/4096B
Tabella delle partizioni: gpt
Flag del disco:

Numero Inizio Fine Dimensione File system Nome Flag
1 1049kB 473MB 472MB ntfs Basic data partition nascosta, diag
 2 473MB 578MB 105MB fat16 EFI System Partition avvio, esp
 3 578MB 595MB 16,8MB Microsoft reserved partition msftres
 4 595MB 374GB 373GB ntfs Basic data partition msftdata
 5 374GB 495GB 121GB ext4 Basic data partition msftdata
 6 495GB 500GB 5048MB linux-swap(v1)

How can I fix this? I think the error is that there isn't any Windows 10 reference on the EFI partition (?) Already tried to update grub and put some code on the 40_custom file.

Thank you!!

I'm guessing that you formatted the EFI boot partition. When installing on an EFI system that already has Windows, you should just use the existing EFI parition. You can run ls /boot/efi/EFI to verify that. If there is no Microsoft directory there, then you wiped it out.

See https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/ques... for how someone else fixed this after doing the same thing.
