Hello everyone,

I am a TYBScIT student and I have to give a presentation about STRUCTURE AND WORKING OF FEDORA 16 (OS). I googled about this but could not get any specific information. Can you people tell me where would I get a good information about this topic? (other than 'fedoraproject.org') Also, can you tell me what points should be included in 'structure and working of fedora16' ?

Thanks for your valuable help. :)

Fedora 16 is a "distribution" and not an OS. The core OS is Linux and Fedora, like many other distributions, packages the OS with many other tools, utilities, applications, games etc. This is because an OS in itself is not of much use (or interesting to most).

Also, do note that the latest version of the Fedora distribution is Fedora 17.

What @fedbug said, and you might want to start with wikipedia on Linux and make your way from there
