Does yum use p2p via metalink?

I recently discovered that yum uses metalink for looking up several package sources. As far as I know, metalink is also enabled to use torrent or other p2p technologies to get the required data (see Wikipedia on Metalink).

My question is now: Does yum use p2p technologies to get packages and updates? If yes, does my Fedora installation also send packages I previously downloaded?
