I have installed codelite 9.2 according to the steps described at

From my command line history:

13  sudo rpm --import
20  sudo rpm -Uvh

When running codelite I get the following error. (Run in terminal)

codelite: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I tried installing sudo dnf install SDL2.x86_64 however this did not help...

You need to install SDL. Also will recomend to install the rpm using DNF so it download and install all package dependencies unless the rpm package do not have it and in that case owner of the package should be notified.

By the way codelite-9.2.-1.fc24 do not show libSDL or SDL dependencies.

 rpm -qpR codelite-9.2-1.fc24.x86_64.rpm
advertencia:codelite-9.2-1.fc24.x86_64.rpm: EncabezadoV4 RSA/SHA256 Signature, ID de clave 1ac82609: NOKEY
rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <= 3.0.4-1
rpmlib(FileDigests) <= 4.6.0-1
rpmlib(PartialHardlinkSets) <= 4.0.4-1
rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) <= 4.0-1
rpmlib(PayloadIsXz) <= 5.2-1

to install SDL sudo dnf install SDL, to report to codelite not sure you need to look onto their devel or bug reporting process.
