I want to remove all others desktops and keep only gnome(fedora 24)

Hello

I want to remove all others desktops in fedora 24 such : xfce and gnome classic .. etc by the way I try to remove xfce by (sudo dnf remove @xfce) and I got this erorr

( Dependencies resolved. Error: The operation would result in removing the booted kernel: kernel-PAE-core-4.6.7-300.fc24.i686. )

... was just a placeholder because I was too lazy to type the entire name with numbers of your kernel. When executing that command, you will have to type it entirely: sudo dnf mark install kernel-PAE-core-4.6.7-300

xfce removed! thank you so much bro. Can you help me to remove others deskstops I didnt use, please ? classic gnome and other desktops came with fedora! I just want kept gnome 3 only thank you again for your time bro, you spent to helping others.

Not sure you can remove Classic Gnome. Other than that there is no Desktop Environment shipped with Fedora Workstation. What else do you see when you click onto your username on the logon screen and then click on the little wheel?

Try marking the kernel as manually installed. dnf mark install kernel-PAE-core-4.6.7-300.
