dnf upgrade

RPM Fusion for Fedora 24 - Free - Updates 372 kB/s | 260 kB 00:00
google-chrome 1.9 kB/s | 3.5 kB 00:01
Last metadata expiration check: 0:00:03 ago on Tue Aug 16 13:14:34 2016. Dependencies resolved. Nothing to do. Complete!

I am wanting dnf to stop looking for fusion,google-chrome but can't find where to get rid of this search. dnf normally doesn't do this.

Repositories can be found at /etc/yum.repos.d There should be some rpmfusion-*.repo files and a *.repo file for the chrome repository. You can simply delete these files or disable the repository by changing the "enabled"-value to zero.

At last

$ sudo dnf clean all && sudo dnf update

This time the unwanted repositories should be gone.

Hope this helps, greets jake

To disable/enable repositories without hacking around in *.repo files, you can use the following commands:

Enable repositories

dnf -y config-manager --set-enabled foo_repository

Disable repositories

dnf -y config-manager --set-disabled foo_repository
