Fedora 24 KDE - Printer page size @ quality changes not applied

I have Fedora 24 KDE deployed and have just installed an Epson Artisan 810 printer, for which I selected one of the suggested Gutenprint drivers, just like I have done in the past on other distributions (Kubuntu and Mint).

However, when I attempt to change some of the default printer properties (e.g. page size from "Letter" to "A4" and printing quality from "Standard" to "Draft") such new settings are not saved. After leaving and returning to System Settings - Printers - Configure - Printer Options the original settings are still there!!

Can anyone shed some light on it?

Alternatively, can anyone point to the printer configuration files where these settings reside, so that I can attempt to change them manually?

Many thanks in advance!

Team, I managed to find the solution myself. Install system-config-printer, run the application and change the desired settings there. They will be reflected in printer configurations within System Settings! Apparently such changes require root privileges, which cannot be acquired within System Settings, even if user is prompted to input root password. Solved!
