Went from Fedora 23 to 24 a few days ago. Was able to do that using the "Software" app. That is a new feature, at least new to me. Seems to have gone well. Did something change to allow this or is it just from the department of continuous improvement?

Perhaps, it is because of the the 'os upgrade' plugin that is now available to dnf. I didn't notice this feature in the graphical interface but was able to do it with dnf text command without flaws. I think this smooth upgrades is a game changer for Fedora.
