I think I may have an issue with SELinux, trying to create a VirtualBox ovf VM with Setting SELinux to Permissive solves the issue.

In Enforcing mode, I have this in Audit.log

type=ANOM_PROMISCUOUS msg=audit(1469224559.982:643): dev=vboxnet0 prom=0 old_prom=256 auid=1000 uid=1000 gid=100 ses=1

right when the error appear:

Error executing command: VBoxManage error: VBoxManage: error: The machine 'vb-fedora-24-np' is already locked for a session (or being unlocked)
VBoxManage: error: Details: code VBOX_E_INVALID_OBJECT_STATE (0x80bb0007), component MachineWrap, interface IMachine, callee nsISupports
VBoxManage: error: Context: "LockMachine(a->session, LockType_Write)" at line 506 of file VBoxManageModifyVM.cpp

Any idea how I could solve the issue?? "vboxnet0" is the name of the VirtualBox interface

The question is really: is it an error message??? I guess it is since other messages have "res=success" at the end, but I am not 100% sure!

VirtualBox is not supported by Fedora, so this question should be on VirtualBox fortums, use Virt-manager with libvirt kvm hypervisor which is supported by Fedora out of the box. What ever procedure you use to install VirtualBox should manage the SELinux issue. If you want to use VirtualBox set SELinux from enforcing to permisive.

VirtualBox kernel modules fail to load with systemd-modules-load.service seems that is a selinux issue too
