I know there have been many posts about the Broadcom wifi chips and I have attempted many of the ways to install the driver with no success because I am unable to see the WLAN on the network setting.

Its my first time moving to Linux and kind of a newb right now I am having trouble installing for the BCM 4322 chip on my MacBook Pro 2010

Please help and thank you in advance

Install broadcom firmware cutter

sudo yum install b43-fwcutter

Download wireless card

Extract driver

tar xjf broadcom-wl-

Go to folder you downloaded the driver

cd broadcom-wl-

Activate the driver

sudo b43-fwcutter -w /lib/firmware wl_apsta.o

The above didn't work for me :(.

Update: Actually it may have worked, need to resolve another issue first. Will update later.....

Update: Alas no didn't work. Have to resort to using a Edimax (Realtek) USB wifi adapter off of my Raspberry Pi. Works but drops out regularly.
