it seems that command locale is not part of gnu coreutils, and google doesn't seems to be helpful. So maybe someone knows where can I find linux locale command source code?

All steps:

which locate

rpm -qf /usr/bin/locate

dnf download --source mlocate

blabla mlocate-0.26-13.fc23.src.rpm

ark -ba mlocate-0.26-13.fc23.src.rpm

cd mlocate-0.26-13.fc23.src/
ls -l

and you got there : mlocate-0.26.tar.xz

Also you may check upstream URL , for example :

rpm -qf /usr/bin/locate -i

For locale instead locate

rpm -qf /usr/bin/locale

so is download with src.rpm with:

dnf download --source glibc-common
