Well, I just wanted an alternative Evernote, I found that SimpleNote even provides a Linux client, and this made me really happy.
The only problem is that they only provide .deb package or .tar.gz. Simplenote Site
I was wondering if somebody can help me to install .tar.gz package.

Ok, I downloaded Simplenote in order to show you how to run it:

$ cd Simplenote-linux-x64/
$ ./Simplenote &

That's it. Hope this helps.

Hello, Download the file .tar.gz and unzip on the folder you prefer, enter on the folder unziped and double click on the exec Simplenote. Done, the app is open.

If you gave double click and nothin it happened, open the terminal on the path where the Simplenote was unziped and run ./Simplenote, look at result and post the output in here.
