Is it possible to instal F18 with grub legacy in uefi mode?

I have found it easy to disable the UEFI and just install without the UEFI. (depending on the BIOS, it is often listed as a "legacy" option). But you want/need to install with UEFI? If so you have some problems because Grub 1 is not able to correctly use the shim loader/ RH UEFI passcode delivery system. Thus Grub 2. I am assuming you have a legitimate need for F18 and UEFI and grub1 as a package then your best solution might be to spin your own version that includes F18 and Grub2. While it is not impossible, it will take some work on your part, I suggest starting with the WIKI and the section on "Spins" link text
