assembly compiler for Fedora 23

Do we have any assembly compiler readily available with Fedora 23? If not please suggest good options. I would prefer to compile and link from the terminal. I do not need emulators.

as is the GNU Assembler, AS - the portable GNU assembler. It's found in binutils but if you do:

sudo dnf install binutils

Entering as --version from a terminal window will let you know:

GNU assembler version 2.25-17.fc23
Copyright (C) 2014 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
This program is free software; you may redistribute it under the terms of
the GNU General Public License version 3 or later.
This program has absolutely no warranty.
This assembler was configured for a target of `x86_64-redhat-linux'.

Package nasm for Intel-like syntax.

If you want to use other syntax (like AT&T syntax) install package yasm, which can also handle Intel-like syntax.
