Severe flickering/black display at login after Fedora 23 install.

Hi! I have a laptop that I bought specifically for learning Linux on. I've successfully installed Arch Linux, but ran into a display problem after installing Fedora 23. I can boot live from the USB and the display is perfect, but rebooting after installation into Fedora renders my login screen unusable. I will see my login screen for a fraction of a second then flashes of black.

I had no problem installing Arch from it's USB image from cli. My gpu is an integrated Intel HD i915, and I installed the "xf86-video-intel" package alongside "mesa", "mesa-libgl" and "libva-intel-driver" packages. This seems to play nice with Arch.

Are there similar packages available for Fedora, or can I pull the drivers that the live USB uses onto my current installation? I'm obviously very new at this and would appreciate your guidance. I'm itching to dive into this Linux Bible I got and follow along with Fedora. Thanks very much!

I was able to resolve this by blindly logging in to the gnome desktop. The display seemed to be fine after logging in, and I updated with:

yum update

After rebooting, the flickering at login ceased.
