I installed VirtualBox 5.0 (from the Oracle Repositories) on Fedora 23 and I am running UEFI. I am not in a position where I can disable Secure Boot so I was trying to use the following instructions to sign my virtual box modules:

I seem to be running into problems right around the point where I call "/usr/src/kernels/4.4.9-300.fc23.x86_64/scripts/sign-file". I get no errors running this, but when I call "modinfo vboxdrv" it doesn't show that the module has been signed. Then of course, I get the error "Failed to write MokAuth Failed to unset MokNew" when I run the mokutil script.

Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong?

As far as I can tell you should be able to import the public key using mokutil regardless of whether the module has been signed. Is there something else that would prevent you from importing a new public key?
