Hi guys, i'm new to Fedora, so i have a couple of questions, first one, i installed Fedora, and as soon as i connect to the internet, it had a software update, the question is, now when i start my computer, the dual boot shows me 3 Fedora related options, and 1 for Windows, so when i installed the software updates Fedora created me another OS from what i think, how can i remove it?

Welcome to Fedora, The list you see is a list of kernels, Fedora update them and keep 3 or more so you can always use a previous kernel version if the new one causes issues. Will recommend not to remove the 3 kernels, sometimes new kernels do no play well with some hardware so it is better to have them.

Good Luck.

Hey, thank you for answering, it's all ok then.

So, another doubt came out, is there a way to perform a clean install of the OS? LIke it's new but without actually uninstalling it and installing again? Is tehre a way to reset the Root password?

Thanks, so far i love this distro.

I was talking about a fresh install, but now i want to know how to uninstall it completely without removng windows.

In the mean time i got that done, i think that i'm learning really fast and i'm really happy with all the OS, but i still have some doubts, for example, i installed the OS on a partitio with 117+Gb, but when i go to disks, i see this:

From left to right - Microsoft Recovery enviroment > EFI System > Microsoft Reserved > Linux Filesystem > Free Space (wtf?) > WIndows > Linux LVM

If i wanted to install other distro i would have to shrink WIndows or LVM?
