Probably, something went wrong in xorg.conf, so after splash boot, I can't log in Fedora (blank screen). I've three entries of it an neither the rescue works. I'm pretty sure is a xorg.conf/nvidia driver issue (rpm method). How can I boot to Fedora in a root terminal from grub screen to restore the default xserver settings?

I solved with another distro, appending an .old to broken xorgs files and reinstalling the driver. Still some issues, as random black screens, but I don't know yet if it is the card (happens on other linux but not on fedora "stock" driver). edit I updated both card (was too hot and screen was too often strange to be driver problem) and driver with latest version. With old driver I had same issues; now works well (so even the .430 driver wasn't so stable after all)

You can do ctrl+alt+f3 to login into a terminal where you can take control and solve your issue. If you have problems with Nvidia search for how to disable nvidia on this forum
