How to install 'xtreme download manager' in fedora 23?

Sometimes when downloading big files i need a good download manager .Therefoe i wanted to know how to install xtreme download manager in fedora 23.

One answer to this question refers to XDM (or xdman). Just follow @davidva 's advice and you should be good to go...


(IMHO, XDM is such a confusing name because of XDM)

Download XDM here
Extract the files
1. Open terminal
2. Switch to the directory where you have extracted tar compressed file, there should be a file named install.sh
3. Execute the file as root.
In Fedora,Arch,Gentoo,Mageia or where sudo is not configured, use: su -c ./install.sh
4. If installation is successfull, you can start xdm from Start Menu or by typing xdman interminal as non root user
